What does this mean for you?
💰 25% MCLE Event Discounts: We are adding MCLE units to our evening events, so instead of earning only 1 MCLE credit unit, you will earn 1.5 or 2 units for the evening. Depending on the location of the MCLE evening event, the price for the event will vary from $45 to $55. With a 25% discount, you will pay only $34 to $42 for dinner and credit units.
📄 PDF Summary of MCLE Presentations and Handouts: After our MCLE events you will receive an email with a copy of the MCLE handouts and a Summary of the evening’s highlights. This way you can easily refer back to important information and share it with your paralegals and associates.
🖥 Certificate of Membership and Listed on Website: Clients and potential new clients are impressed when they know that their attorney is known and involved in the community. In addition to being listed on our website, you will receive a Certificate of Membership that you can place on your wall, put a photo of it on your website or post to your social media account.
⌨️ Inland Empire List Serve: The list serve is a great way to ask questions and exchange family law specific information. There is also a family law attorney who regularly posts summaries of significant new rulings.
☕️ EWFLC Mug (they’re back!!): Have you seen the EWFLC mug on Commissioner Gassner’s desk with the 3 cavemen? That mug is now considered a vintage item! We are bringing the cavemen back and adding an update with the EWFLC logo.
🏎 Discount for Day at the Races event: Brian Thorne is planning a social Day at the Races for the EWFLC community. A great opportunity to visit with old friends and make new ones. As a member, you will receive a discount for the event.
💻 Tech & Law Practice Management Webinar: Other than appearances in court, I can operate my office from anywhere in the world. Although I have two office locations, I am not tied down to them. For me, technology = freedom. I use several different software programs, leverage offsite employees (virtual assistants) and meet with client’s via video conference. In this video webinar, I show you all of the programs that I use and teach you how I operate my firm from my laptop. I anticipate you will see at least one program or tip that you can integrate into operation of your law firm to better meet the needs of your clients and to provide you more freedom from the office.
👩🏻⚖️ Attorney Mentors Available: What I love about practicing family law in the Inland Empire is the collegiality we have amongst attorneys. Seasoned attorneys are happy to mentor new attorneys as you navigate the terrain of courtroom rules/etiquette, learn how to meet the needs of your clients while avoiding burnout, understand complex laws, and run a law practice. Have you been practicing for a while but can still use some tips from a seasoned colleague? We have Mentors for you too! Conversations with your attorney mentor are private and free as part of EWFLC Membership.
Study Group: Are you looking for a Study Group where you can dig deeper into legal issues and case studies? Let us know and if there is enough interest we will organize a Family Law Study Group.
